Jay Rist

It all started in 1983, my dream was to become an architect. My budget on the other hand did not support these dreams. My father gave me two days to have a job, somehow I landed a job framing. My love of working with my hands and building the things that people appreciate started from there.

I stayed developing my skills for a decade but half way through I started drifting off on my own after hours, building a name for myself alongside working for a well developed company. Soon after the ten years with the company I fully jumped in to my own business. 

J&E Builders has taken on a couple names over the years and evolved, the way most things do. The one thing that hasn't wavered is the love of what I do, and how I give it my all.   

I will say that framing is my passion and I have an eye for detail.  Yet the jobs that I know are going to be a challenge, I tend to take on full force. I am confident in the experience I bring to the table. 

The one thing I remind my clients is there is a huge different between getting a job done, and getting a job done right!
